Every completed equity event that touches your shareholder record is logged as a transaction in Centi. The transaction history gives you a permanent, auditable record of how your stake has been built up over time — from the first share issuance through any subsequent transfers or secondary purchases.
Finding your transaction history
Your transactions appear in the Transactions section on your home page, below the investment summary and offers panels. The section header shows the total number of transactions recorded against your account.
Each row in the list shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Date | The year and month of the transaction, displayed in a calendar-style column on the left |
| Organisation | The name of the organisation the securities belong to |
| Direction | Whether you were the buyer (Bought) or the seller (Sold) in this event |
| Total value | The total monetary value of the transaction in the fund’s currency |
Transactions are sorted with the most recent first.
Viewing transaction details
Click any transaction row to open a detail panel on the right-hand side of the screen. The panel provides the full breakdown of that event.
The panel opens with a one-line summary — for example “Bought 10,000 units for 50,000 NOK” — giving you the key facts at a glance.
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Transaction date | The exact date the transaction was registered |
| Buyer | The name of the buyer (your name or your holding company’s name) |
| Seller | The name of the seller, if applicable (blank for new issuances from the company) |
| Company | The portfolio company whose securities changed hands |
| Exercise window | For option exercises, the start and end dates of the exercise period |
Securities breakdown
Each security involved in the transaction is listed individually:
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Security name | The display name of the security |
| Quantity | Number of units bought or sold |
| Purchase price | The price per unit paid for this security |
If a single transaction covers multiple security types (for example ordinary shares and a warrant class), each appears as a separate item in the Securities section.
Transaction types
The two transaction directions you may see are:
- Bought — securities were issued or transferred to you. This covers new share issuances when you subscribe to an offer, as well as secondary market transfers where you acquire shares from another shareholder.
- Sold — securities were transferred from you to another party. This typically occurs during a repurchase or secondary sale event.
How transactions relate to offers
When your fund manager marks an offer as completed (Settled), Centi registers the underlying security event and the transaction becomes visible in your history. The transaction date reflects when the securities were formally registered, which may be a few days after you signed the subscription agreement.
Documents attached to transactions
Some transactions have one or more documents associated with them — for example a signed subscription agreement or a share transfer deed. When documents are available, a View documents button appears at the top of the transaction detail panel.
Open the transaction
Click the transaction row to open the detail panel.
Click View documents
If documents are attached, select View documents near the top of the panel.
Download or view the file
The documents modal lists each attached file. Click a file name to open or download it.
Not all transactions have attached documents. If the View documents button does not appear, no documents have been linked to that transaction. Contact your fund manager if you expect a document to be present.
