Navigating to the companies list
Click Companies in the sidebar. Centi loads a table listing every company registered under your organisation. Each row shows:| Column | Description |

| Legal type | The legal entity type (e.g. AB, Ltd, GmbH) |
Company types
The Companies list shows all companies in the organisation. Fund vehicles and other structural entities used purely to hold or structure investments do not appear in this list as they do not have a cap table.The company detail page
Clicking a company name opens its detail page. Use the tabs to move between different views of the company.Cap table
The default tab when you open a company. It shows the full ownership table — every shareholder, the securities they hold, and their percentage ownership. You can download the Share Register and Export Cap Table from the buttons in the page header. See the Cap Table page for a full walkthrough.Securities
Lists every security class defined for the company — ordinary shares, preference shares, warrants, and standard convertibles. From this tab you can:- Add a new security using the Add security button (choose Ordinary share, Preference share, Warrant, or Standard convertible from the dropdown).
- Edit an existing security by clicking it in the list.
Pool
Available for portfolio companies when option pools are enabled for your organisation. Shows the option pool allocation, unallocated units, and how the pool relates to the overall ownership structure.Signatories
Displays the authorised signatories for the company. Use the Add signatory button (visible to non-finance users) to register a new signatory against the company record.Bank details
Stores the company’s banking information, used when generating payment instructions or settlement documents.Company details
Shows core registration data — legal name, organisation number, incorporation country, contact name, and contact email. These fields are used on documents and exported reports.Recording company transactions
For portfolio companies, a Company transaction button in the top-right of the page lets authorised users register corporate events directly against the company. You can only register company transactions here, meaning corporate events like splits or transfers between company entities. Any transfers where a stakeholder is involved should be registered via the program page as all stakeholders ownership should be part of a program. The available transaction types are:| Transaction type | What it records |
