Prerequisites
- To open Settings and edit the joiner workflow, you need the Firm Administrator, Organisation Administrator, Investment Professional, or Advisor role. See Roles and access.
- Reviewers must already have a Fund Portal login with access to the organisation. Centi staff cannot be selected as reviewers.
The Settings page
Click Settings at the bottom of the organisation sidebar to open the organisation settings. These settings apply across the whole organisation, and every program inherits them. The page holds the Joiner workflow editor. It shows the steps every new offer goes through, such as investor signature, counter-signature, and payment. For each step, you choose whether it starts automatically or waits for you to start it manually.Add a review step
A review step sits in front of a step in the joiner workflow and holds that step back until the offer is approved. You can place a review before Subscribe, Investor signature, Counter signature, or Payment. Steps that run in parallel share one review point, and only one review can guard each point.1
Open Settings
Click Settings in the sidebar.
2
Drag a review into the workflow
Drag the Review card from Add to the workflow onto a review point in Steps. The card is only shown while at least one review point has no review.
3
Name the review and choose a reviewer
In the Add review step dialog, enter:
- Name: shown as the column header on the program page and in the reviewer’s email, for example
Board approval. - Instructions: what the reviewer should check, for example
Check the buyer, the number of shares and the share price. - Default reviewer: the person who is preselected when someone requests a review. This field is required.
4
Save the workflow
Click Save. If offers are already in progress, confirm the save in the Save changes popover.
Workflow versions
Every save that changes the workflow creates a new workflow version. Earlier versions are kept.- Offers that have not started follow the new version.
- Offers already in progress stay on the version they started on. The Save changes popover tells you how many offers continue on their existing workflow.
- A newly added review step guards new offers only. It does not apply to offers in flight.
- If you save without changes, Centi shows No changes to save and creates no version.
Review offers on the program page
Each program tab shows a review column for each review point that applies to its offers. The Drafts tab covers reviews before Subscribe, the Subscribe tab covers reviews before Investor signature, and the Sign & Pay tab covers reviews before Counter signature and Payment. Each cell shows a review status:
Hover over a status to see the review instructions, who requested the review and when, and who approved it and when.
Request review
1
Select the offers
Select one or more offers with the status Ready for review. All selected offers must wait for the same review.
2
Choose a reviewer
Click Request review. The step’s default reviewer is preselected. You can choose another reviewer from the Reviewer list.
3
Send the request
Confirm the request. Centi emails the reviewer with the instructions and a link to the program page. The email contains no offer data.
Approve
As a reviewer, open the link in the review request email. The program page opens filtered to the offers that need your review. Select the offers and click Approve. Centi records the approval with your name and the time. Approvals cannot be undone. Once an offer is approved, a step set to start automatically starts as soon as its other prerequisites are complete. A manual step waits for you to start it.Void review request
If a reviewer is unavailable, select the offers with pending requests and click Void review request. The reviewer is no longer asked to review those offers. You can then request a review from someone else. You cannot void a request that has already been approved.Forward actions with a pending review
Actions such as Invite to subscribe, sending for signing or counter-signature, and sending payment instructions stay available even when a review is not approved. If a selected offer has an unapproved review, Centi asks you to confirm before it continues:- Approve and invite? or Approve and send? appears when every pending request is assigned to you. Confirming records your approval and performs the action.
- Invite without approval? or Send without approval? appears in every other case. The warning lists which offers await review by a named reviewer and which have not been requested for review. Confirming records the offers as approved by you, then performs the action.
